why mini?

It's for my crafting and doll clothes. And it's the only thing I can use on my desk!

I have a mini sewing machine that's stuck in logistics too.

Seems reasonable. Honestly depending on what kind of fabrics you use I could even see getting truly old-school with a metal iron for tight spaces.

Bugly42: yup. And it's good for iron ons and things. I've been using flat hair iron but this lets me do things where I don't need to sandwich between an iron.
