[RL] Someone just banged loudly on my door and ran off when they heard the dogs barking and charging the door. I am officially freaked out because when I went to check nobody was outside at all.
It happened again after I turned the lights off and went into the bedroom for the night. I'm seriously freaked out and currently home on my own. Debating calling the cops
And it didn't sound like they were just knocking?
firebenderjess: I assumed it was someone knocking which is why I went to check. Nobody was there. TWICE! And it was a loud enough bang on the door I heard it on the other end of the house. Seems a little overkill for just a knock at the door.
Plus, it's like 8 or 9pm at night so I don't know who would be at the door at this hour.
Yeah, that's definitely unnerving...

Still not a bad idea to contact police. It's a little late in the year for ding-dong-ditching, and I don't even know if kids do that in your area. Definitely keep the dogs on patrol.
