Thank you cards would be appropriate .
Oh, yuck, you got another one of those awful bots.
I'm amazed at how common they've become upon Plurk of all places, a site that isn't even American focused saved for small niche communities.
Also the proof that the spammer only looked at the title and didn't care to listen to the video to find out it isn't even about republican/democratic divide in the slightest
I've been wondering about the recent DDOSes too...the primary audience here is Taiwanese, and there are those with an interest in censoring them that would also share an interest in promoting right wing US views...easy side project to add
(most of the english speaking people here with public timelines are also young preteens and teens, primary targets for radicalization x.x)
It is an absolute shame when we're in a time as especially critical and nuanced with the world's political divide as we are now
we are in an era of loud and flashy political statements about issues with grander underlying causes that are refusing the be adressed
a big old "look at this big flashy problem and this dumbass way to try and stop it" rather than thinking about whats causing these issues to begin with
and that in the end, no matter what your stance or objective are, there are siilar underlying issues that are affecting all of us that require more attention
but make it about being snarky to whoever even slightly side-eye's the word of trump i guess
instead of actually looking at the topic of class divide and unity that this video is really about
chohakkaifan: Excuse me? I am friends with many Taiwanese here.

StopDNPMarxDEIRaceSexHus...: I feel the congratulations is surprisingly genuine and she's not accusatory or sarcastic through most of it. in fact her tone is very calm and understanding throughout most of the video. and the rest is correct.
this video is less about left vs. right and more about the furthering class and financial divide that is corrupting politics and it's purpose for serving we the people as a whole. something that I believe is affecting both left and right leaning people
the comment came completely out of nowhere so I misread lol
I can understand the general hesitance, it's because I'm one of the rare people who doesn't have my account privated so it's open for just about anyone to find and read theough
yeah, it's understandable! I meant more specifically that I misread them directly addressing you about the Taiwanese comment since you hadn't mentioned it yourself
lol yeah that's valid. yeah, but someone who is right leaning but still has tons of friends in Taiwan absolutely makes sense for their being on the site
chohakkaifan: Thank you for giving me a chance. I appreciate it.
StopDNPMarxDEIRaceSexHus...: Of course. My whole thing is I'm sick of the animosity dividing the people in this country in ways that are unnecessary. Yes, I'm a democrat, and yes, I am pretty set on my stances, but I think unnecessary animosity is only making people less capable of opening up conversation.
And jumping to quick assumptions about people and their different perspectives will only further the divide the country, going against what it's supposed to initially stand for.
Ultimately, we are supposed to be one nation united despite differences. I feel that constantly increasing the animosity, even in places where it is unnecessary, is counterintuitive to achieving anything.
And that's the point of this video, is that, democrat or republican, there are legitimate isses in this country that need to be fixed that both side actually 100% agree with
but no ones bringing those issues to attention because everyones so focused on the differences, when we can literally argue over those forever before reaching a finalized conclusion
I want our country to fix what we all know unanimously needs to be fixed.
part of that being the obvious abuse in class divide and workers' rights that no-so-slowly seems to be developing within the past few decades
chohakkaifan: I respect that both parties share and alternate being in charge. I think the mix of them both keeps the United States free. So I have my values but I work around other ideas as well.
Right. We can disagree, but that doesn't mean paths can't occasionally intersect. This issue seems to be greatly agreed upon by the majority of people, and because of that, I think it can be changed if we all decide to take more direct action during this rare moment.
opening up these sort of conversations instead of jumping right into doomscreaming circular biased arguments at one another is exactly what this video is about and thats why i think it deseves a watch by everyone.
