days 1 and 2 of new job was immediately pulling a transmission out of a truck. 35-45 hour weeks, 35 hours at new pay scale is more than 40 at the old job.
not to mention the 7 mile vs 28 mile commute. 15 minutes drive time versus 30. all major things I need are on the way home (grocery, gas, food). no more on-call so no more middle of the night roadside work.
