One of my coworkers has been recovering from a knee injury.

She went to the store and left her cane in her car because her knee wasn’t bothering her that much that day

Comes back to the car and someone had broken the car window and stolen her cane and her child’s backpack from the car

What is wrong with some people????

Like, okay, the backpack is upsetting but I could potentially understand someone in desperate need taking it in the hope that they can find money and/or food in there.

But what use could they possibly have for her cane?

They'll try to sell it for a couple bucks.

Who buys that?!
