I don't think "don't adopt" is exactly the message.

and yes, under those circumstances I think I'd rather find out that my child is alive and being taken care

of than buried dead under a pile of rubble.

or starving or raped cause there's not enough aid workers to look after them.

taking them out of the country and repatriating them later may not be a bad idea
