When roller-rink birthday parties were the Big Thing (tm), the only way for Harry to get her out to the car at the end of the party was to strap on rollerskates himself and go into the rink and physically skate after her because she just Wouldn't Stop (tm) and no one could catch her.

Wrath is/was VERY attached to his Vaporeon because he ""rescued"" her from someone's backyard, and this was during the time when all of the Pokemon he was obtaining were basically replacements for his "old team", so obviously she was the Sloth Replacement (tm) and he was extra special bonded with her.

if we're not taking his unhealthy attachment issues into account, he really likes Spheals because they're round and nonthreatening and Lust's Spheal always liked to play with him.

HEATHER... was essentially stockholmed into liking both: 1. DOGS, and 2. FIRE POKEMON because I'm horrible and made sure she wound up with a billion of each despite her having trauma lmfao. So now that she's been in the setting for MANY YEARS, she's pretty much overcome both of those fears at least within controlled settings.

to the point that her biggest 'security blanket' Pokemon is her Rapidash, which she brute-forced her way into learning to ride because it was the best option she had in response to a DIFFERENT traumatizing situation.

HEATHER HATES GHOSTS and Wrath was very afraid of Grass-types for awhile and I don't actually remember why lmfao

he and Al fought a giant Tangrowth at one point but I feel like he was afraid of them before that...

Heather also SPECIFICALLY hates Shedinja because there was an event awhile back where the pokedex bit about them sucking your souls out started actually happening
