I have also upgraded to Paladin, and am in lvl 30 Archanist questline.
I have completed lvl 45 Culinarian quest, and am up to lvl 41-50 Palace of the Dead dungeon.
I have also started and completed a big chunk of the level 1-20 sightseeing guide, and I am up to the Ishguardian part of the samurai quest line. 
So yeaaaahhh
I think I'm hooked

but its really funny cuz every time someone asks "if i buy a job boost which one should i get?" the answer is always 1. NEVER skip EVER 2. smn/sch because it's a two for one 3. pld cuz its boring
yknow i dont remember if the post pld bit get closure on all of that
cuz you do eventually return to ul'dah and back to the gladiator's guild
but it's been a while since i did it and idr how it ended (haven't really got the ending ENDING as i haven't done the post shadowbringers quest)
rubberspaceducky: lolol which is funny since ARC and PLD are the two I'm focusing on atm (and archer/sam/war/&dnc but yeaaahhh)
arc/brd is really good
i like dnc and sam too
but man pld is just...the worst of the job quest storylines
honestly i don't think there's any story i dislike aside from pld lol
rubberspaceducky: SAM has been fun, the quest to do worldwide justice with a old retired samurai who keeps speeking wrong and his lalafell buddy is a blast. DNC was good! It felt a bit empty ended though once you finish lvl 70, but we'll see how it goes once I beat SB.
I'm still in the beginings of ARC but I'm really enjoying it! The characters are great and the target shooting mini-quests are fun! And I'm so close to unlocking the SUM/BRD stuff, p.sure I'm near the end of the ARC questline.
oh the post ShB quest for DNC made me tear up but that's mostly because of the music lol (tho it does have a very beautiful cutscene that i'd like to see now with the lighting upgrade)
idk why but the ff9 music used for dnc gets to me lol

of the base jobs war is prob one of my fav stories (with drk being prob the best job quest in the game)

rubberspaceducky: Not yet, still stuck at the end of SB. Didn't have high enough gear for final fight with Zenos and then got distracted on all the side content (crafting)
