Semi hiatus - Wu Xin will be noticeably scarce starting this week (except Breach!) until late Feb (Re: irl trip)
Since I'll be away for 3 weeks at the start of February (cruise trip to southeast Asia), I'm putting Wu Xin into a semi hiatus.
He's going to seclude himself into his room to cultivate his martial arts, which he's been neglecting since Narrenschiff's battle.
His presence will become nonexistent around the Barge, possibly even on network. Think of it as almost a self imposed coma. He won't actually be unconscious, so he might still show up in network.
Wen Ning: yeah that's normal
But when breach comes around, he'll be pulled into it anyway, so I'll be plotting and active for the breach!
fiercebadrabbit: lol! Only Wen Ning would understand that. Guy disappeared for a few weeks, oh yeah, he's just practicing his martial arts. Totally normal.
siderealtime: magicom: he'll inform them that he needs to go into seclusion for a while, and reassure them he's fine. He might have explained a bit more to Winter, so Malcolm might be able to kinda explain to Will this is a martial arts thing. Maybe, sorta. Depends on how much understanding he has and how he interpreted Wu Xin's words.

fiercebadrabbit: his qi was still kinda disrupted and not back to full standards. Assume Wen Ning might have noticed if he ever got a chance to check Wu Xin's pulse or something during their riding/shooting event.

Will won't worry, in that case. But he will probably ask him about it, after reacclimating post-Breach! He's curious how that all works.

siderealtime: yes, he'll try to explain to Will that he's not really injured or anything. He just needs uninterrupted time to get things back on track with his energy and all that.
And Will definitely understands needing time to one's self to recharge, even if it's not as literal as what Wu Xin's doing.

Sorry to custodian people. For like a month, there will be boxes of food and empty boxes piled outside the end of 4th level.

cannibalherpes: thanks! And assume that if Thrawn messages, he'll get a delayed reply possibly a few days late that Wu Xin said he's fine, but will be unavailable for a while. Possibly via emojis because it's easier than audio.

Tendi will check in on him, but she trusts Will so if he says Wu Xin is okay she'll back off.

She might get it more than he expects! Meditation in solitude isn't an uncommon practice in the galaxy, even among races she's worked closely with like the Vulcans and the Bajorans.

ahaha well, Hanna is pretty sure he can't leave without disappearing and he knows people cant do that on purpose but he would give it back, absolutely. he isn't a thief even if he will mourn the loss of it and probably ask for one himself when he graduates
