My first thought is about, Diet. She's in two games rn and i've thought about enough random scenario's on baker street that I'm trying to nail down how I feel about her
And the thought is, her diet is one of the strongest factors for determining her personality.
She's gotta feed the Hunger. The Hunger is fed most efficently by negative emotions.
Fear, Pain, Despair. These are the basic foodstuff requirments. They're meat and bread for her
But if you eat only the most efficent foods available, you end up being MISERABLE
Which is why most of the time Aurelia is a detached and kinda a bitch. Future Aurela in

is like that. She measures everything she does in terms of energy required to do it because her body proccess everything she eats in a snap and she just has to work with that
There's no slow digestion for her when it comes to those. They just turn straight to energy and she goes back to being hungry
And perhaps i'm projecting a lot of my own food issues onto Aurelia. So this isn't hte most accurate depiction
but being hungry is the worst feeling in the world. It ruins everything you touch and saps all the joy out of the world
Positive emotions digest slower, they're harder to break down into their componet parts, so when she eats those they linger in her mind/soul for longer, which influences her actions
Eating a bunch of joy isn't going to make her a happy person, but it'll stick in her gut long enough that she'll BE happy instead of hungry, which gives her a chance to have more of a personality
Which it turns out, is pretty witchy. Prone to being mysterious on a whim for no good reason, taunting people, indulging in random projects just for the whim of it
Hmm. I've run out of thoughts, I'll leave this here though.
she's really come a long way from the first time I put her to paper
it turns out, forever wars where you must grapple with the fate of humanity are NOT good indicators of who you are in ANY OTHER SITUATION
there's still a lot of core traits that shine no matter where she is though
arrogance/ confidence. a belief in her own abilities. even when that's tested, even with she fails, she still thinks of herself as being capable of doing anything. given enough time
Amoral tendencies: the way she can do anything, if it advances her goals. the way she just won't get why it's bad to kill if it's the most efficient solution to a problem. it doesn't come up always but it's a core trait, it'll always shine
cares (badly): as a contrast to the above, she cares so so much for her chosen few. her people are her world. the people who accept her are the people she'll break the rest of the world for... if only she understood that most people like living in a world unbroken
as far as core personality traits to it's not much but... it feels right? trying to pin anything else down just feels too subjective and conditional
actually now that I'm thinking about it. how do I keep myself from mixing her up with all my other OC's who have the same personality
answer, It's either so natural to me that I don't notice, or I don't
can't tell the difference
