Refresher: Obsidian founders used to be Black Isle Studios and they - way back when - helped create BG, BG II, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights 2, etc. Basically sub-division of OG Bioware

Pillars II was ... okay. I am not sure what it lacked but I remember I had a tough time falling in love with it as hard as I did the first game

I will say, the gameplay is really different

From top down pause/action/turn-based to just.......... action first person

Or third person, but all the trailers seem to like highlighting the first person

I'm sure they'll expand to PS5, but really sucks there's no info if that will even happen or not

Right now it's just listed as Unknown for Steam Deck compatability
