Mingjue-

After loosing his queen he began to hopelessly roam the realms until he heard of the land of Eorzea which had been actively taking in freelance adventurers for coin. Thinking it a better living for himself he takes to the seas and ends up signing on with Limsa lominsa’s adventurers guild, eventually taking up the role of marauder/warrior.

So focused on his cooking he makes light of the conflict with Zenos, saying if this guy has enough energy to spend toying with him than he himself will just take his time to craft the ultimate cup of chamomile tea to “get the blasted genocidal bastard to calm down”

the first born son to his original clans matron and her first follower/ most beloved Hrothgar mate, he lost them young in his life. his mother died first and he initially was labeled a lost at the young age sox, his father finding and falling in love with a miqo'te brothel worker.

they were then wed and he gained a younger adopted miqo'te brother (huaisang) in the process. he loved the little runt dearly, but unintentionally pushed harder Hrothgar standards onto the child which he just could not keep up to. his father was mauled during a hunt with an old friend (a garleyan by the name of Rohan).

in fact he was sabotaged due to his iffy-at-best allegance with the garleans, and Rohan, seeing his disagreements as disloyalty to the empires cause, purposely weakened his weapons and armor so that a wild boar could easily harm him.

while slowly dying on his death bed mingjue caught Rohan placing a berserk curse on his father, causing his father to inadvertently attack and kill his adoptive mother before succumbing to his own wounds. because of this he and his adoptive brother were orphaned when he was 12.
