I am trying to figure out a place to put short-, medium-, and long-term tasks, goals, and items of business -- where I will actually remember to check it

can I change the notepad icon on the taskbar to be red? maybe?
so I REMEMBER THAT NOTEPAD EXISTS AND IS THERE
I can MAKE the lists but if my brain skims over the existence of them and the location..........
I'll be honest, lists have legit never worked for me, my ADHD is super bad I think bc they just become environmental noise right away 😭
make a list on a sticky note and change the color of the sticky note every time you forget it exists
put it on your keyboard when you go to bed so you can see it when you wake up and can't possibly ignore it
I had a to do list app I liked a lot but I did like. I had curated the habit to check it because I liked to mark off that I'd done my daily chores
^ that sounds like a rly good idea
that works for short-term chores & daily stuff, and is a neat idea!
the problem is I need to work on some longer-term habits, tasks with moving parts, things that depend on other things, and so on
which won't fit on a sticky note/need to not be in my way most of the time
