i checked my county for my voting location and it's not yet decided. check often, especially starting in march, for where your voting location is. putting a dem seat in GAETZ's empty spot will be very important, even if majority is barely affected

i will be frank, i do not know what her policies are, but at this point her running opposite R means she can be maybe a little reasoned with. perhaps emboldened, if she's cool. it doesn't matter bc we are not letting perfect be the enemy of better

so I don't live in this district in FL, but because my own district incumbent is a shockingly popular MAGA guy I'm sending her money to make up for it

there are actually 3 special elections coming up, I think. 2 in Florida and 1 in New York. If all 3 go to dems we could flip the house this year

let's all tell as many ppl as possible!!! turnout for special elections is SO much less

you should be able to request a mail-in ballot, if you need it.

for what it's worth the one in New York is really interesting too. The dems actually put up a forward an decent candidate (a dairy farmer with little background in politics for the deeply rural conservative very northern region of the state that's literally called north country)

And the republicans haven't nominated anyone yet because I think stefanik is technically still in the role for now...
