IMPORTANT! Toggle your IMs to Offline/Emails off and on again if you set yours that way, the new features of additional ones have knocked them out, for me so far 4 accounts not registering them as emails but logging in they are there. The emails mean we don't cap the same way #secondlife

thanks for the heads-up! i had that issue a couple of days ago and turned out, it wasn't the email settings, but all SL messages went straight to the spam folder (gmail). so just in case anyone is changing email settings and it doesn't help - check your spam!

what worked for me was creating labels and filters for my SL messages. with filters you can stop certain emails from going to the spam folder

I wondered why my offlines were going to spam again!

filtering emails (and if i could figure out how to find my filter settings, i'd tell you what i used for it) will keep them from going to spam, they'll go to that label and just have a notice that they would have gone to spam except they were filtered to not

omgwtfbarb: go to gmail on your browser, on the left side bar click manage labels - filters and blocked addresses - create a new filter. under "Subject" type in Message From Second Life - create filter. then check "never send it to spam" and again create filter. that way your IMs won't go to spam

you create another filter for the subject "Inventory offer" - for SL NCs

these are all filters i have set, so all group notices, IMs, NCs, MP sales and reviews never go to spam https://imgs.plurk.com/QGa/a8r/9qHiilgFE8kP9XY5sVJ2a1g37EP_lg.png

IzzieButton: i think i created one with the to: link having my avatar name, as they send mail to Firstname Lastname <email address> also

(i also created special filters for specific objects, like my subscriber dumps all of its backups into a subscriber folder)

Allegory: OMG i didn't even think of that! i already had all my different SL messages labelled and color coded, so i find everything easier when i'm checking mails on my phone. since i had those labels already, i just put filters on each of them

if you don't have labels, i think putting your SL name in the "to" is probably the easiest and fastest way

the spam thing was a separate issue, just make sure you reset your offlines to email so that you still get them even if they go to spam :-)
