So I'm at 32%. Internet is really bad today after all of the snowy weather and I'm getting a fantastic 10% every 30 min lmao~
I will just make this plurk Avowed stuff. No spoilers, I'll make another plurk for spoilers
PERHAPS If it is contained we will not upset people with constant squeaks and squawks about the game
LOL It was going so slow that I took a nap BUT NOW IT IS TIME
Spore Druid life goals in this character creator
Okay so this is what we look like with our charming godlike features
Who needs two eyeballs when you can have one and a fungi at the same time
And this is without the godlike features (hidden)
I made her eyes massive on purpose because we are rocking the fungi and any smaller and you can't see her see you
SHE IS BEAUTY
SHE IS GRACE
SHE HAS FUNGI ON HER FACE
I am bummed you can be a moon godlike because rocking a giant moon crescent on your forehead is the best choice in Pillars I and II
Okay I got through the tutorial
There was a bit of body horror, a bit of jump scare
But compared to Pillars I's first village introduction IT'S KINDA CHILL
But I will say, it's absolutely dumbed down
It's very beginner friendly. Lot's of hand-holding and tutorials
I tried a little of each weapon offered in the tutorial all in first person
Wand/Grimoire feel good. I like the casting, but wow squish
I do not like the bow, in first person it takes up SO much of your screen
Sword and board also felt good but my block timing wasn't great
I got a warhammer but I didn't bother with it yet
When I leveled, I IMMEDIATELY got a pop up saying to pick a skill
Which I didn't like because I would much rather sit on level up decisions a bit longer
The options were tanking skill, cc skill, damage skill
You sort of choose a background in character creation and you choose stats but less so a class
Which is so strange coming from Pillars where classes are a big deal like in BG3
You can absolutely make some abomination combo build
And so far the story is kinda interesting
Okay back to studying and I play more tomorrow
