Hasbro is getting out of hand with these prices for Magic. The Final Fantasy set is going to be more expensvie than the Lord of the Rings stuff was, and have fewer packs/box.
Almost $500 msrp after tax for a collector booster box is outrageous.
And for the play boosters to have 6 less packs but still cost more. 
Kind of glad I gave up trying to keep up and just switched to focusing on the RPG and Warhammer crowd.

Yeah, they're just releasing way too much too fast, and the prices just keep going up.

At least with D&D the cost of the books has been relatively constant, and all the other RPGs that we play locally are around the same.

For sure. I do agree there. I was a little shocked seeing them
