So our crew has been wary of this skeevy dragonborn that's been creeping on our patron (and with whom we've come to blows before).

But in town, my character was off drinking and carousing (as one does) and runs into him, and he asks if I'd be willing to fight under his banner in a local high-end arena.

Always looking for both coin and an excuse to break something, I agree, without telling my team. They find out, of course, and come to watch me.

The fight is kind of a pushover, and I win handily.

After the fight, I spend time cleaning up, then use disguise self to go upstairs, planning to turn into the skeevy dragonborn as a joke... then it hits me.

I can claim his prize winnings.

I do so, then slip out, and change back to myself...

next week, I try to collect on my cut for winning the match, and we see if he pays out...

The great part, you had the agent say "and your winnings?" then a beat, THEN you realized what I was doing.
