one thing I've noticed in some of the quizzes I take for my courses is that you can often pick out the right answer by seeing which terms are familiar

I was an extremely talented test taker, and I also got very good at memorizing and then forgetting information for tests.

I actually encountered a test one time that was really good at having only one obviously wrong multiple choice answer and usually two or three extremely plausible answers. where the wrong answers were very close to the right one if you didn't know the material very well
