BFDI 14: Firey screams for Match after falling off the cliff instead of another character. I cant think of any significant interaction between Firey and another character so maybe this is just picking a random to fill the gap, like blocky calling for Firey, but Firey SCREEEAMS for Match,,, heh, only one conclusion..

BFDI 12: Fireys points decrease, he ends up next to Match. “Hey Firey!” (In the wiki, this is described as flirtatious. I agree.)

BFDIA 4: “Watch! See, I saved Firey’s life!” (Not exactly an interaction. But again, parallels...... take notes...)

Firey Comics: Firey and Match Are some of the very first characters ever established, and in the comics he is seen mostly interacting with Match.
During the election comic, Firey voted for Match in the election.
They already have some sort of pre-established friendship/relationship beforehand, as Firey tends to approach Match for assistance
