but to me she just sounded like an angsty shitty teenager

it didn't impart any feelings of "she went out looking for hope with faulty instructions and returned with overwhelming agony"

why didn't she sound like she was on the verge of tears? why didn't she sound like she really WAS trying to do the WOL a kindness like she claimed? why didn't she sound like she was exhausted or at the end of her rope?

hell even her more apathetic stuff just sounded, like. sullen
