[Tomb of Dragons] holy goddamn that was a good read (possible spoilers in comments)
latest #17
I was not expecting the dragons to be literal
or Pel-Thenhior to be heterosexual
(but either heteromantic or aromantic & masc-inclined queerplatonic, if I am reading Victorian Elvish correctly, which was cool)
(happy to yell. also about THE ROB OF CAIRADO which I didn't even hear about until it was out, and devoured immediately)
I wanted not to trust or like him but I did
also, was it just me, or even in its dark & sad moments, was this book just funnier than the others?
highlights include: Celehar's closet being searched, the back & forth with the Catacombists, Celehar not knowing Lt. Beshelar's name
Csevet being referred to exclusively as Aisava also sent me
I was impressed by how many guns from the first book went off in this one. Like, I was not expecting the decor of a teahouse to be vital plot foreshadowing.
(I did not know about Orb of Cairado until this very moment, so now I know how I'm spending my morning)
I just finished Orb . It ended a bit more abruptly than I expected, but was still delightful
agreed! it was a morsel, but a really different view of the Ethuveraz
