The authors are Kelley Armstrong and Seanan McGuire.

Apparently Kelley is calling her book her Fargo novel because it takes place in the dead of winter with the detective being eight months pregnant

Ugh. I am looking at at least three more books. Because supporting the authors is something I love.

I love this answer to a question about their choice to include LGBTQIA characters. They feel like the world would be less genuine without inclusion.

Day one of two complete. I have bought 8 books, two t-shirts and a canvas bag and might end up with even more tomorrow.

I did have to stop and chat with one of the festival organizers because there is an issue with accessibility and the AV cables in the lecture halls as they were set up.
