but a lot of this is sorta offscreenable so no pressure if you do not feel a response is needed in the moment
man, If Norton wasn't running I'd throw Abel in there since it'd be good practice for him but he wouldn't run against him.
Follow your heart, whatever's ic!
he might see about boosting his campaign instead. that's good enough. also he isn't mentally stable enough for a smear campaign at the moment so maybe next time.
arthur wouldn't nominate himself bc he doesn't want to act like he's buying in to walter's insanity, but i'd love for someone to do it
Walter praying that Arthur sticks to his guns of "inmates should just shut up and let wardens do whatever they want (unless that happens to poor little demoted me)" <3
I'm excited about all of this
John is going to ask if anyone is allowed to run
yarnzipan: do you mean "in private" or "in public" cause I can see reason for both
he initially contacted him in public so that he wouldn't feel cornered, then offered the private option in case he wanted to state his distaste for him personally and tell him no in private and not hurt his public image of 'free and fair and for everyone' election
he doesn't like you. but he's still trying to consider your comfort.
Unfortunately Walter genuinely thinks this is 4D chess to make people aware of his grudge against John and undermine the credibility of the proposed election
John would understand 4D chess more than this. He's in season 5 and still having trouble with reverse psychology.
Walter is honestly hurt by what he sees as being accused of that, of "a free and fair election" being a public image. Like the way Sokie said it "oh it's his rebellious scheme" was one thing but just the image of "actually John you're a poopy head and shouldn't run" "ok!" makes him feel so pathetic
Not that he really deserves to feel hurt after what he's done but he genuinely does not get the olive branch AT ALL
meanwhile John's genuinely like 'if you feel I shouldn't run, I don't want to ruin your thing. it has nothing to do with a judgment on you'
it's more important to Walter, so he's trying to default to Walter's preferences
arthur is absolutely judging walter tho
he doesn't think the election is an 'image' he just doesn't think Walter sees him as a person so he might not have thought he'd run
Walter did not think he'd run for the different reason that he went out of his way to switch to commissary to make some kind of weird point
I'm... going to be doing what I can to see if Walter can eventually become... curious... Because his mindset is genuinely GIVE JD AS LITTLE AMMO AS POSSIBLE
he just felt he couldn't do the job properly so he moved spots
I need to toss Yelena at the candidates to pester them, when it’s not sleepy time.
I mean I don't speak for them, but I do speak for the post being taggable forever and my hope to do a good job facilitating
I'll be there! (When I'm not at work.)
Hooray for Yelena in the comments with the questions. I am sorry there is no Walter reply to Norton yet
I apologize for John's novel of an answer
by the way. Admiral might explicitly be coming down against new inmate murder alerts
Unsurprising, given it'd be a plot killer.
While meanwhile at least Walter will calm down a little about the wardens individually being so incompetent on purpose
Like obviously I'm over here as a player "hell yeah Frank arrival rampage plot!"
“If I had to watch the inmates all the time, I wouldn’t really need you, would I?”
