note, our wedding is a good ways out from now

plan a was to get a house first. a plan we've bumped up by a couple years

then we'd worry about wedding plans

my mom has been super gungho about it, already securing us a dj for the nebulous wedding date

my aunt carolann and aunt cheryl have apparently both been looking at wedding dresses for me to match our dnd theme

which cheryl showed me a stunning dress last nice that meets all my ffavorite features

told mom, and she WENT OFF on cheryl

because we've been asking mom to cool her jets and then her sister did that

I'm not mad that my aunts are sharing these with me

I love ideas and inspiration. If I was better at sewing, I'd make my own dress

what I WANT is for everyone to slow down

and I told mom this, we told her that we want it to go slower but she took it as full stop I guess?

SO I just told her straiught out that if my wedding is going to cause fights

there won't BE one

we'll go toi the gd courthouse and be done with it

oh boy

luckily mom listened to me and swallowed her pride to make peace with my aunt

but i think i'm gonna have to download zoom and talk with everyone soon to outline some clear boundaries

and a general timeline
