Mostly femme stuff, ethically made, lots of cute graphic print skirts, very size inclusive. The Skirts Have Pockets.
Even on clearance it's still, like, the kind of pricing you would expect from a small business that's careful about their supply chain, but if you have the money and want something a lot of it is discounted and for the moment you can get it without paying import duties on top of that.
(for non-canadian friends the US store is
Shop Maya Kernbut it doesn't have as much stuff on discount)
Sadly noms on Maya Kern's shop from afar
Mayas shit is sooooooooooo good
As a skirt enjoyer i highly recommend. The tops are well made and comfortable as well
I've been a huge fan of her work for years but can't afford the cute clothes
Yeah honestly my clothing budget very rarely extends to anything that isn't thrifted but it's nice to look at her new design drops and dream
Yiii when I save up for clothes I will admit it's usually for a rufflebeast dress
ive been craving a maya kern skirt for YEARS, the skirts are so deep you can fit a kitten in them, a nintendo switch in them! get these while you can!!!
..... just realized i was missing the word pockets-
ah man that's sad that theyre closing up here! her stuff is mostly too femme for me but mayhap i have a look anyway
Tariffs. They're gonna have a lot of casualties like this, MK was already running a very very tight ship. 😞
Maya's stuff is great!! I own so many. they are on the pricey side but for something so comfy and cute while being ethically sourced, its reasonable in the end. (If your wallet can handle it in these trying times anyway weeps)
I own a couple, but joining in on the "these are great and if they're your kind of garment and in your budget, do recommend"
the pockets really are amazing
JELLYFISH MINI SKIRT PARDON
holy shit you weren't kidding about FITTING A SWITCH IN THEM
oh no my sizes are sold out rip
the waistbands on the skirts make them kind of unflattering if you want them to wear high waisted like i do but they are very comfy, can recommend
Nothing a cute belt on top cant fix (i have the same issue)
Yeah I typically throw a chunky belt on top or wear with a tucked blouse that's then pulled back out ever-so-slightly to hang over the waistband (though shape/having large breasts plays a big part in having the fabric hang properly to do that and not everyone is built the same).
I have multiple skirts as well as various tops from Maya and can vouch that even if it's pricey the quality and make of the materials hold up better than stuff I've gotten at department stores.
I have been wanting a maya kern skirt but me having the money and designs I like being in stock have never occurred at the same time...alas, one day....
