Tea the housecat is again sneezing up blood.
Otherwise hale and hearty, but just blood-splosions every few hours.
oh no
He’s been confined to one room for a whole day and a half and he’s super pissed about that, but that room looks like a Dexter set now.
any clue what causes it, given it's happened before? :/
Everything is covered in sheets and those sheets are covered in blood spatter.
He has masses in his lung and sinuses.
Because he’s 16, we aren’t pursuing a diagnosis. As long as he’s apparently healthy, we’ll treat him as such and when he’s not, we’ll look at options then.
But this happens every few months now and the only bother he seems to get from it is being annoyed we won’t let him turn the house into the Hannibal intro.
It has been very illustrative of how far a sneeze can travel. Kitty with lungs the size of a ping pong ball can project fluid over 12 feet.
Yesterday I picked him up and he sneezed directly into my chest. Fastest I’ve ever gotten into the shower.
and yeah, that's where we are with Bill. He's still losing weight, DAMMIT, but he's also active and vocal and happy and adventurous, so until that stops we're just carrying on as usual. No more medical trauma, he's almost 17
Vet visit wasn’t great - he doesn’t pass their tests to be put under sedation, so we can’t do the thing the appt was actually for; a tooth cleaning. But he’s strong af - he defeated their attempts to x-ray him.
Oh Tea buddy. Pet him for me when he isn't going to send you straight into the shower again
