only the first half of the story is out so far and it ends at the start of the dinner at kyokos. theyre totally speedrunning different story with a sprinkling of drama cd details

i wonder if we'll get to see mami finding kyoko after her familys deaths. ahhhhh

lmaooooo omfg. the first half of the second part of the event dropped also and they legit said "lets not talk about that" wrt kyokos dads descent into madness

it literally goes from "mami visits kyokos house for dinner" to a brief handwave interlude of "we fought together but it wasnt meant to last" followed by a smash cut to kyoko coming home to find the disaster

nothing about kyokos dad finding out, his reaction, kyoko getting gloomy on mami, not even mami finding kyoko lying in the snow after

just goes from that to their fight about kyoko's heel turn attitude. i absolutely understand that that part of the story gets dark, and they have a limited time to tell the story (each part of the event only has 8 story pieces), but the execution is jarring

it also reflexively makes me go a little "hm. wonder how they'll handle other parts of the girls' stories that get equally or more fucked up in the future"

hopefully it was cut for time more than anything else. based on their pacing, it WOULD extend the event from two parts to three
