Pair of large dogs jumped the fence and attacked Rumple while I was making breakfast. Had to drive an hour for the nearest emergency vet.

He’s currently being worked on but had me fill out worse case forms.

I’m fine, they jumped back over and ran when I came out. The only wound I found was on his front sternum, but it was bleeding pretty steadily. Waiting on vet in a private room.

Update he has a puncture would in his chest and neck, they have him on pain meds and are going to do X-rays and clean up to see how severe it is.

Definitely hoping Rumple is okay and the injuries are easy to heal. Also please take a moment for yourself to just sit and breathe.

They’re going to keep him overnight and might have to do surgery

Just got off the phone with the, he's sedated and resting but they haven't started the surgery yet, and don't know when I'll be able to pick him up.
