Did not plan this ahead but want to buy before the tariff increases hit.

I play BG3 on a PC but that PC cost way more than a PS5 so

But if you can get a cheaper laptop that suits all your needs and a PS5 that is a nice compromise

I have a 10 yo Lenovo laptop that still suits my gaming needs (minecraft and Stardew) without issue but I’m realizing laptops are about to go up a lot in price and stay that way, so time to upgrade I guess.

you might only want the PS5 for bg3 now but it keeps your options open for later down the line
