Wow. That's quite the scenario. No I would not axe that patient.

It happens every couple of months and he hates it more every time. He got so stressed from me messing with his butt that he pooped himself twice while I was cleaning him so that I had to clean his poopy butt three times, then give him a full bath, plus extra time before each butt cleaning to let him calm down.

It took almost three hours and by the time I got him clean, it was appointment time, and I hadn’t even showered or eaten and was close to pass out.

It’s my fault, he was due to go the groomer for a butt shave last month. We’re both still recovering from the ordeal.

She said she’d call me back to set the new appointments for next week and she hasn’t. She doesn’t work Mondays and usually we do Tuesday or Wednesday and Friday. If she hasn’t called back at all today maybe she doesn’t intend on seeing me Tuesday or ever again. She didn’t sound pleased or amused on the phone 😓

They’re like the closest PT place I can walk to with good reviews/decent physical therapists and I actually don’t hate going there. Previous experiences at other places were not so good, especially with male physical therapists.

she probably just forgot to call back. I’d call and reschedule. also I personally wouldn’t give that much info, I’d just say there’s a sudden family emergency and leave it at that

I guess I kinda felt free to be upfront on this because we talk at every appointment and last Wednesday she talked about toilet training the Australian Shepherd puppy she had just adopted the weekend before, and there was a long talk about urine and poop and hardwood floors...

But I guess as a last minute appointment cancellation reason that doesn’t fly the same 🤔
