I'm tired of my things breaking already. First it was the biggest electrical circuit, then the battery in my APC UPS, then the battery in my mopping robot, and this morning it was my electric kettle. I have had none of these things for even five years.
Guess I'll get a stovetop kettle if I can find a non-Chinese-make cheapish stainless one.
I'm hoping I can maybe buy the UPS battery at the end of the month.
When the battery in my UPS died, in found out that it was cheaper to buy a new UPS...

Not bad. I guess mine were too old, and not common anymore. But you can find cheap UPS systems for less than $100. (I would not recommend those, though; better go with good brands with a serious guarantees in case of damage.)
