went to the local Hands Off protest today and it felt good to see somewhere between 1000 and 2000 people in attendance.
Looking at local news, I don't know what aired on TV, but if I were to go by the local Fox station's online reporting, I would not know that any protests happened at all in my area today.
the other news stations reported on the protests in a neutral to positive way
Overall the mood was very much one of solidarity and being buoyed by being around likeminded people.
I will say I heard the sentiment multiple times today "where were (the other protestors) on voting day" and generally avoided pointing out that while it looks like a lot of people, there are somewhere around 800k people in the county. The under 2k people present at the protest/rally probably did all vote for Harris.
