long time no Plurk! Tonight, in a fit of nostalgia I hooked up my Nintendo Wii and started a fresh playthrough of Rune Factory Frontier, and I'm going to share my thoughts as I go through it for as long as I remember!
If I remember right, this game is the direct sequel to the OG Rune Factory released on the Nintendo DS
The premise for this one is our amnesiac hero Raguna woke up one morning to find his bestie, Mist, had left the town they lived in without a word
So naturally he set out to find her
And then he finds her immediately, but she can't go back to the OG town for Reasons (TM)
She insists he take up residence in a conveniently abandoned house right next door to the conveniently abandoned house SHE has taken up residence in
The thing that kills me here is - the town we just left from the first game is full of eligible bachelorettes, one of whom (INCLUDING MIST) you could romance and marry
Forget that wife, she's dead, you're in a NEW town now with a disproportionate number of unmarried women living in it (including Mist!)
