Because Michael isn't human either and the two of them know what it means to last while other things (people, places, etc.) won't. He gets annoyed with him only when he's denying himself, or constantly apologizing for shit he doesn't have to. Michael is one of the few people other than his and Ling that he's been a bit more honest with

Not that he lies, but he tends to skirt around some things. He still does with Michael a little bit, but even that's starting to become less and less

BJ is always down for random kisses and Greed knows this. He admires Greed's hedonism and his willingness to match his freak. There's a lot he doesn't know about him, but he doesn't need to. He knows that they both know what they want and also he makes a good drink

And he knows damn well, 9 1/2 times out of 10? BJ will be right there with him, no questions asked. PART OF ME imagines that they sometimes spend the night in one of the backrooms, doing shots of liquor together. Greed always wants to see what sort of tricks BJ can do, what he's got up his sleeves

And he part of him thinks that's what BJ needs. Just to let loose, to be himself, to have someone who will take it all without a hint of judgement. I'VE SAID IT BEFORE but he's the king of the freaks and the monsters here

Greed is just guarded about some stuff because he doesn't like to make things too serious. But especially when Fizz left, that kind of suddenly, realizing loneliness struck a chord. He's always down to try to make BJ feel like he's worth it and to remember he's worth it

wafflicious Greed trusts Nanami especially when shit inevitably goes south. He's tried to keep out of whatever other business he's got going on since that's his and his alone. But Nanami has proved himself again and again and even if they don't always see eye to eye, he knows his Accountant has his back

He is skirting around the obvious elephant and the room and really? It's nothing personal. To him, everything with Nanami is casual. He could easily be going over some potentially (AND NOT SO LEGAL) business, they could chat over some scotch, or they could fuck. He knows it's more like having familiar company instead of something that's more complicated

and LISTEN sometimes he'll just do a quick nip on the lip if just to rile the man up. But he's also trying HE IS MAKING AN EFFORT not to push the line too hard. Nanami's relationships are far more serious, and he isn't offended if the answer is no

In terms of Michael, the thing he has with him is different than what he had with Lucifer. It's like having something he knows he's not supposed to have, but not giving a single fuck who knows. He doesn't care about his Heaven's rules. The man could just be human for all he cares

But being able to see right through him. AND SURE there's some things that are obvious, but even before they started talking, Michael could get right through that 'Shield of is. It's complicated but not in the way he's upset about it all
