I went to northern california 11 years ago and the monterey bay aquarium is amazing, highly recommend

OH and obvs Mandalay shark stuff in Vegas but I'm kind of actually hoping to plan Vegas trip for next year if I can swing it

clear on the other side of the country, the roanoke aquarium is also very good

New England Aquarium is great

I used to go there all the time as a kid, and I went on my birthday a couple of years ago and it was just as good as I remembered

unfortunately my hometown's aquarium is really fucking cool and nice ugh

i don't rec the nc aquarium at fort fisher unless you're already in the area though, it's pretty small

I've never been in one of those parts where it's fully enclosed tube to walk through and I think that shit would be so damn cool

if you're ever in my neck of the woods, there are a couple of aquariums, but idk how good they are since I've never been, but they're both very popular

oh and as for the roanoke one, I DO have a short stay in NC I still need to set up and cash in from work to use sometime this year...

I haven't been to the other two NC aquariums, so I can't comment on them, but the one I went to was so cool

yeah, we really need to make it out to roanoke sometime

it's a gorgeous aquarium, I love the outer banks in general though so I'm biased

we may try and go out there this summer, alex really wants to go to the beach so we may try and take a weekend sometime in june or july

I recommend avon, though I usually go earlier in the year and can't comment on how crowded it'll be in june/july. but honestly anywhere on the outer banks would be a lovely stay
