I love seeing Picard so excited about the Holodeck and its ability to replicate the 1940s.

I feel like Data's involvement (and memorization of Dixon Hill's appearances) is going to mess up the story as he'll ruin the mystery.

The newspaper salesman looks familiar.

Looked into it - he's played by Dick Miller, who I recognize as a truck driver from Small Soldiers and a gun shop owner from The Terminator.

I do like how, even though Wesley is helping, it's clear that he's not automatically better than everyone else. (Geordi is offering him advice and telling him to not rush)

Data's attempt at being in-character crack me up.

I think this might have been my favourite episode of TNG so far.

I finished up an episode, Haven, that I couldn't finish before due to the disc being cracked. (I found a first season set for TNG for $15, so now I have back-ups) Now I'm starting When The Bough Breaks, which I assume has to do with babies. (A Federation nursery?)

Not sure if it's a sign of how advanced Star Trek's future is that little kids are learning calculus or if the writers picked it because it sounded tough. (I'm guessing it's the former)

It seems like the Aldeans are going to kidnap the kids on the Enterprise.

This is clearly a Wesley-heavy episode.

The Aldeans' technology seems eeriely close to something that Q can do.

The child actors in this are good.

The episode was better than I initially expected.
