This episode has Wesley being tested for admittance into Starfleet Academy - I'm curious if this means that he'll be written out of the series (for the most part) beyond this point or not.
The bureaucrat who's examining the Enterprise and trying to find proof that Picard is unfit for command is also irritating, but at least that one is intentional.
Thanks! I'll look into those - I haven't even heard of Discovery. I recognize the titles for Deep Space 9 and Voyager, at least. (I think DS9 takes place in one central location and Voyager is the one with a woman as the captain, though I'm not sure about either)
Starting Heart of Glory; I'm behind on the Original Series, but I'm surprised that the Federation is still in conflict with the Romulans given that the Federation seems to have settled things with the Klingons.
Discovery along with Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks and Picard are newer and on Paramount+ . I recommend them. And Yes, DS9 happens more or less in one location. IT's a space station next to a wormhole and it's a little more political/social commentary leaning but very good. Voyager is with Cpt. Janeway lost in the Delta quadrant and about getting home.
