The fibercrafts devil in me just came home from a JoAnn's with like 2 dozen things of embroidery floss, so
It's a busy demon rn I guess
the fibercrafts devil got me yesterday with three quilting pattern books, four secondhand flat sheets (for tie dye) and a lifetime supply of elastic on my thrift store run, but he wants batting

I paid twelve dollars for this whole stack
the fibercrafts devil in me is only resisting this urge by not wanting to have to hand quilt, I can't help you
the fibercrafts devil in YOUR chair wants to live vicariously i see -
or for someone to send me a sewing machine.
but I thgink hand quilting would fucking DESTROY my fingies
i was briefly tempted at the thrift store to just start buying the $16 sewing machines and fixing them up myself but I successfully defeated that urge at least. mostly by going "bitch you would have to carry it home and you didn't bring any wheels"
man I have got to figure out how to fix one of my broken free sewing machines
i'm making myself start simple by learning to lubricate mine myself (since you're supposedly do that annually and fuck paying someone a hundo to do it)
I don't even know what's wrong with mine. or which one is better
and I still need to get denim for DIY tripp pants
/looks at pile of yarn and several WIPS
i was supposed to cut pieces for another button up shirt today but instead I became cleaning shark
i too am fighting the demon whispering "quilting" into my ear i understand
i need more oven pads! oven pads are a major entry project! and unlike full size quilts you can do them without. a long arm machine. lmao
i can't save you i wanna get into it too
aliens guy meme but it's BATIKS
oh fuck oven pads is such a smart idea too
i desperately need to make myself this patchwork denim tote bag after my cross stitch tho
OVER PADS!!!!! yeah i need some i accidentally left one of ours on a burner that was still hot and it's uh. it didn't light on fire but it's got a big round singe on it
oh I did that to one once
i feel bad bc they're technically mia's but she and chris like the glove kind so i'm the only one using the flat ones anyway
and also i bought chris some for christmas
i was literally resisting the fibercraft devil yesterday with the needlepoint kits at my local con
