I know it's the one where Donald Pleasance plays Blofeld and commonly parodied elements like the volcano lair are established.
The astronaut's death in the opening is a horrifying way to go.
I forgot that Roald Dahl wrote the screenplay for this.
Bond picking up a couch and trying to beat someone up with it reminded me of the Yakuza games, and that I should play those some time.
I get that SPECTRE doesn't want anything left to chance (they killed a tourist for taking a picture), but having helicopters shoot down anything that flies by seems like a giveaway that there's something going on there.
"Do you have any commandos here?"
"I have much, much better - ninjas!"
Classic.
"What's the plan for me?"
"First, you become a Japanese."
Not classic.
The eyebrows make Bond look like a Romulan from Star Trek.
The actress playing Kissy Suzuki has very distinctive eyes. (She looks very sad in her first scene)
I should watch more movies that Donald Pleasence is in.
There's a shot of him staring at the camera as he orders that Bond is to be searched that's unsettling.
The ninja assault on the volcano base is wonderfully chaotic.
I just finished. A classic in just about every sense. Out of Connery's initial five Bond movies, I don't think there's a bad one in the bunch. (It's been a bit since I saw Diamonds Are Forever, so I'm not sure if that was as good as the others)
