yea, with the exception of like. one type of event that comes around twice a year, limbus is very forgiving as a gacha, there are very few IDs or e.g.o. that you can't buy whenever you want with the shards

there are 2 kinda of crates. the yellow one gives out 1-3 shards of a character of your choice. all you do in limbus is farm for shards in mirror dungeon in order to get the charas you want

events in limbus only happen like. twice in a 5-6month period with 2 reruns happening somewhere in between

he's weak to blunt, if you're in a part where you're fighting enemies that do blunt damage he'll be taking more... beyond that it's probably just that he only has one double-coin skill and two single-coin ones so he's just getting out-rolled, if he isn't underleveled

he's not vastly over levelled, so I think it's blunt weakness
