The introduction of friendship mechanics makes sense with Verso but they definitely are very trusting (or desperate) from the get-go

So current strat is

Leave ONLY Verso in my party so he gets last stand pictos perks

Put him at 1 HP and wail on everything until he goes down

Then the girls jump in if that fails

Then Monoco as a very last resort

But I might swap Monoco with Sciel because she's also scary solo

So it'd be Verso -> Lune/Maelle/Monoco -> Sciel

Verso's mechanics making him scary with 1 hp is lol such the essence of the game and I'm here for it

One bad dodge and we are le corpse

Lune and Maelle are very good like TEAM players

Maelle with the defense and crazy parry skills, Lune with the support

They go together so well, at least for the builds I have set up

Maelle being the party tank gives me LIFE I love her

Monoco's still new to my party and I'm still getting to know his mechs/killing everything in sight and stealing their ........ feet

I spent all night fighting Chromatic bosses

And I realized, after I killed one and got 500k exp that I was 10 levels under the recommendation LMAO

BUT IT'S FINE

IT DIED slowly

The boss gave everyone 2-3 levels so no complaints

And a level 22 weapon when most of my weapons are 11-12

So Sciel's happy, I'm sure lol

Maelle and Verso are so wholesome. Even if he used her as fucking bait and was INSTANTLY forgiven for it.

Maelle is very much a bratty teen though. I'm very relieved everyone else is like 30s-100 lol I don't think the game needs more than one emotional rollercoastering moodswinging teen for characters

There's been a lot of Chromatic bosses with immunity to elements so I've left the elemental ladies in a corner for now, alas

Meanwhile the physical damage/light only damage group have been my main for the time being

The story bosses are so weak at this point

So I think I'm doing something out of order, besides that one Chromatic boss

Even if I fail dodges/parries I only get tickled by story bosses
