I've driven cross country from upstate NY to Sacramento, CA several times it's roughly 2700 miles. It takes about 4 days, if you're really insane, 5 if you're not LOL.

MouseMimistrobell: oof, did you do all the driving for that? Do you go a bit squinky towards the end?

Yeah you really get a bit weird at the end, and we were moving our stuff from NY to CA, so we BOTH drove, my husband drove a rental truck w/all our stuff in it, and I followed in our trusty Volvo. The last bit, which required us to come down hwy 80 over Donner Pass was pretty damn scary!

Portland to LA is a solid 16 hr drive if you stop for food, gas and to pee, with two people driving. I've done it in 14.5 hours with a couple of stops for gas/bathroom with a cooler in the car. It's almost 1000 miles

I drive from Montréal to Illinois (17h/1750km) pretty regularly. I make frequent rest stops, but basically non-stop. I can do it in 20-22 hours.

We used to do the 14h drive from home to Siesta Key, FL straight through - stopping only for gas and food. My stepdad trained us to not need hotel stops on road trips so that is probably why I rarely stop when driving from Canada.
