She was talking to her girlfriend or whatever, I don't know, but she said something about me threatening to beat her which? Not really what I said, but okay, and then she said I said I also said I would wring her neck which I didn't say ANYTHING like that, and when I brought up her saying those things she said "it's a joke"

But her girlfriend thing doesn't know that's a joke and she never clarified that while talking to her, but whatever

For context she asked if she could watch a show without us and I said as a joke (she KNOWS it's a joke, because she makes the same jokes too) "I'm gonna to hit you if you watch it without me" and I usually say afterward I'm joking too so?

what i usually have to do is peck it into my brothers head to clarify if hes talking to someone else abt things like that, clarifying its a joke is extremely important as well so her outwardly disrespecting the fact you want her to say youre joking is. fucked up in all honesty

I genuinely wouldn't care if she said something like "joked about beating me" or something to that effect but it's the fact that she explicitly used threatened instead and added stuff that I never actually said, and obviously her girlfriend wouldn't know it's a joke so you'd think it'd be common sense to actually clarify on that part considering the topic

even when i typically say the "— beats me" shit its??? always common sense i DONT get beat????? idk why she doesnt clarify its a joke
