[tabletop] [paid game] [looking for new players!] My Stepstone Isles game, which is 2014 5e D&D with light eldritch horror, is looking for 1-3 new players!
we run one Friday per month, flexible based on people's schedules, from 730 PM CST to 11 PM CST (occasionally ending at 1030 or 1130 based on pacing & availability)
it's expressly an LGBTQ+friendly, neurodiverse-accessible game, run over Discord server by text & voice (text-only players have to be on the call to listen in)
currently our party is at level 5, & consists of a Watcher paladin, a tome warlock pretending to be a wizard, & a fighter/arcane trickster rogue looking to dip into wizard
they have recurring NPC allies who include a phantom rogue, a lore bard, a constellation druid, & a low-level cleric, but if you picked one of those classes I'd make sure they were backgrounded & you'd have your spot to shine
the party are investigators on an isolated archipelago, working for the local nobility to root out a cult conspiracy who kidnapped the entire population of a small island to another plane
they're about to start a plot arc looking into the cult at a small academy for mages (like a prep school before wizard college, expressly unlike Famous Franchise wizard schools), so it's a great moment to intro new players
Possibly worth noting: Our player group is rather light on the first-person roleplaying and heavier on the "strategizing and narrating our characters' actions in third person"
