It's worse in NG+ and I am R E E L I N G

A friend of mine and I have been going back and forth with strats against [redacted] all day lol

HE HAS A REALLY GOOD STRAT but it's literally all in for Verso and I am huffy about that

The current strat he's got is pyuu pyuu pyuu basic attack

All the gun does is debuffs and mark and burns, the usual

Then the basic attacks give more rounds but also more ap anddddd gradient

So all his eggs are on Verso's tier 3 gradient skill

And I am not sure I agree?? It just feels like it takes the fun out of it

There was one point in my first playthrough where I just made sure Verso had first strike and then he just shot everything to death

I did that for the entiiiiiiire end of act 2 big lead up to the boss

So I might go for a different strat, but if anyone wants that strat. It does sound like my friend has a plan

15% gradient x4 with just Verso is pretty good

His party is Verso, Maelle and Lune

Lune basically just uses Typhoon, Maelle mainly just burns things to death (ha. ... ahaa...ha.) and Verso just shoots and stabs until gradient 3 and does it again

So it's a very defensive strat against a boss that eats hp, eats shields, and eats your soul

I am more parry and prayyy lol

He is still on his first playthrough and has surpassed my level

I feel shame lol

But also... the game is so easy after a point, until you bump heads with [redacted] and then you're like WHERE WAS THE INCLINE Why is this a skill issue CLIFF

My friend is still trying to beat [redacted]

They're now level 99 and besides the final story bosses, this boss is all that's left for them

Idk how his NG+ is gonna look after already being 99 in playthrough 1 but lol OKY BUDDY

He has apparently made Verso a fire proc'ing King and the main party is now: Verso, Monoco and Lune with the backup team being Maelle and Sciel

The goal is to use Maelle's tier 3 gradient toward the end of the fight to just get rid of the boss faster

Apparently! He managed to get the boss down to 4% hp but Maelle failed to crit so the plan didn't work

She has a 94% crit chance soooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Anyway, he promised that he'd stream later and I could watch him suffer

Eyyy my friend beat the boss

Maelle's tier 3 gradient did 15mil damage lol

And he even forgot to put on defenseless
