Oh my gosh I'm so glad he's ok but know those injuries are no joke.

We all use Life360 too and I agree it's really important to have.

Holy shit, I'm glad he's OK but wow, that must have been pretty scary for all of you

OMG, I'm so glad he's going to be OK.

OMG so scary! I'm glad he's going to be okay.

My goodness, that must have been terrifying for all of you

OMG how scary. I am so glad he is gonna be oki.

Thank you! It doesn't help that I am now a 10 hour drive away but I'm glad he's alright and he has his twin with him

I'm glad he'll be okay. I hope his recovery is short and uneventful.

Oh no 😟 this is so scary, I hope he heals quickly

Oh wow that must have been so terrifying. Glad he is ok!

Small update: the injuries are a lil worse than thought. One leg is broken and the other has a torn ligament. His arm has multiple fractures or of place bones, he had surgery yesterday to move the bones and another surgery this morning. I'm not sure why

He was due to be moving house this weekend so I'm driving down to help

Oh shit, sending him and you ball loads of love xxx

Thank you all so much for the nice thoughts and words, we really appreciate it

Wee update: The arm surgery is all good, he has two plates in his left arm cos it was all mangled around the wrist area.
The legs are less good, after an mri the right leg has fractures in the tibia and femur. The left leg has torn ligaments and requires reconstructive knee surgery which with luck will happen on tuesday, thursday if not

Basically what happened was he was about to change lanes to overtake a tractor but there was a van in the lane that was slower than he thought and he didn't have time to stop so he went into the rear right wheel of the tractor

He was very lucky cos the back of the tractor was covered in spikey tractor nonsense. We think when the bike wheel connected with the tractor wheel it would have just flipped the bike and flung him off

Again he was lucky he didn't get flung under the van/tractor/back of the tractor

I'm driving down to help out because they were moving house this week but obviously now he can't so I'm doing it for him

He's very stubborn so he's going to heal just fine but he's sad about being stuck in hospital and unable to move, his bike and that most likely he's not going to be going to download

Yikes. That will be some recovery. I hope he heals up quickly.

I hope his surgery on his leg goes smoothly
SkyeGeek: he is very stubborn so he'll be healed even if he isn't tbh
