that was a cute cozy fantasy tbh. not supreme literature-- I think Cursed Cocktails is a better example of a queer cozy fantasy with dynamic plot

i didn't like it. the cozy was refreshing, but he tried to have a following plot and it fell flat and awkward. Why have the grandma mafia and stone plot at all?

there's a cute plot with a magic critter in the basement and hijinks after keeping his secret

and trying to follow his deceased father's dream by making the hard drink recipes he wrote in a journal
