I know it's not DWRP news, but hey, it's money and it's legit yours.
oh damn I thought the bread fixing lawsuit was long since over
As your local class actions claims processor please 1) fill out the forms accurately or I will cry on you, with snot 2) don't expect to get too much money out of it, and definitely do not pay for expedited postage it will be a net loss. thank you and have a nice bread
love when i get my $3.72 from class action settlements
idk i got like $300 from facebook a couple years ago
i'm sure that was an outlier but there's always hope!!
look if i had a nickel for every time i've seen someone spend $10+ to post a claim that they didn't fill out correctly or that doesn't qualify at all, I would have an hourly raise of a nickel
oh, i didn't mean for the expediated postage, that's always a scam
a few years after my old iPod died, I got a note from Apple saying that they were legally obligated to replace my dead iPod with the newest model. did I think it was a scam? yes. did I mail them my dead iPod on their dime? also yes.
turns out, it was legit? baffling, but delightful.
starcrossedsky: It doesn't look like there's any forms at the moment? You just have to be not-from-Quebec.
Oh wait they're pending distribution, nm
yeah their claims process is a "to be determined" at the bottom
(would be really funny if my company ends up getting this one ngl, we do canadian ones occasionally)
"If you are a potential member of the Ontario settlement class and you wish to participate in the Loblaw/Weston settlement, you do not need to do anything at this time." love when i dont have to do fuckin anything, woo
same, I thought they'd long since resolved that
but hey, fuck you, Canadian grocers, gimme my bread money back
I have indeed bought bread in the last 20 years
I don't have to do anything? suspicious
I only got 7 dollars from one settlement, remember tim hortons giving a single coffee and donut for privacy violation? uggh
milkycrown: you'll probably need to fill out a claims form once the process is started
