Gets pregnant with her commander she fell in love with during WW2, CO leaves her after the war to return to his actual family, she raises her daughter alone and unsupported, and she has no regrets. Damn that's certainly a kind of love.
This was one of my favorite stories in the book. Her husband was like "Dude all they'll care about is where you were in the war and what you did in the fight" and with the author she was like "lol he's not here LEMME SHOW YOU MY WEDDING PICTURES WE WERE SO IN LOVE"
